This is a hotel that I would recommend. Breakfast is always good. Dinner is not bad, and the drinks are good too.

The front desk staff is great, Thank you Kiana and Uanda. Even the maintenance guy, Mr. Terry, is doing a great job.

The bed was comfortable, I was able to sleep well.

I really like how the elevators are set up, they are staged when not in use. One is always ready at the lobby level, and the other is always parked at a higher floor, level 4, so there is never a wait for the elevators!

The room was clean and comfortable, lobby was bright and inviting, and location of the hotel was convenient. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Being able to stream Netflix from my phone to the TV was a plus. The shower had excellent water pressure. Although the bathroom was clean, there was a steady stream of ants coming in from somewhere. The breakfast was overpriced and underwhelming. However, the overall hotel experience was pleasant.

Overall Stay was great! Greeted with a smile from stay, they were very courteous. The building was very clean, & smelled fresh. The hallways were clean, & very cool. The room was very nice, & allowed a lot of natural lighting. It would be nice if it was a little easier to get to, but not a terrible location. Even the parking lot seemed to be well kept. I will definitely stay at this location again, recommend this location to Family, & Friends.

I have never experienced such a friendly environment. The manager Uanda went out of her way to engage in conversation with myself and coworkers. The bar tender Kirsten made excellent drinks, and we tested her skills with some oddball requests from our youths. Not that we do that often, but we would typically be disappointed in a lazy answer or excuse to not try making them (it is a hotel bar after all). Kirsten googled it and pulled them off perfectly. She engaged in constant entertaining conversation with us and the other patrons at the bar the whole evening. The cook even came out to check on our opinion of the meals. one of my coworkers is a bit rough around the edges and can be polarizing, (the friend you always cringe not knowing what is coming out of their mouth next). He teased in his own way about how it could be better and she (believe she went by Tippy) shot right back at him in the most hilarious way. I swear those too became friends off the bat. We mentioned we were only there one night and had reservations down the road where we normally stay (rooms were not available for our first night at this other place). And we were talking amongst ourselves about how amazing this Hotel was. We decided to extend our stay and cancel the other bookings. We will stay here from now on as the atmosphere cannot be beaten.

The hotel itself is great. The rooms, the staff, the amenities and the restaurant are all wonderful. Every single employee that we met, from the ladies at desk when we checked in to the housekeeping staff to the waitress we had at the hotel restaurant were so kind, courteous and helpful but most importantly they were all professionals who seem to take pride in their work. Just like we've all come to expect from every holiday inn we stay. Thumbs up to the manager in charge of this hotel! It's a really pleasant stay and whoever is doing the hiring at this hotel should be very proud because they have put together a really great staff! I didn't love the location but if you ever have to stay in Baton Rouge, I wouldn't even shop around, I would just book a room at this Holiday inn!

On arrival from traveling late, was informed the room I booked was not available due to some water leaks in other rooms. I booked a room with double beds and had to take a junior suite with a king and pull out sofa. My son who was playing in a soccer tournament had to sleep on a sofa bed which is not as comfortable as a bed. Had no choice since it was so late. Management did apologize and offered free breakfast as a gesture. The breakfast is normally $20 but the same breakfast buffet is free at other properties. Hot food selections were slim and weren’t refilled either (who offers biscuits with no gravy?). It was good but wouldn’t pay for it. Room was nice and bathroom spacious, overall very clean property.

Southern hospitality at it's finest. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Quick to respond to our needs. Very accommodating. Very well kept establishment. Conveniently located just outside of Downtown. Felt safe and secure
