Avoid this place at all costs!!! They do not deserve one star. The lower prices do not make up for what you have to go through living here. My best friend lives here and I come to see her quite often. She has had multiple encounters with staff since moving in because of the countless problems in the apartment. From leaks to heat/air not working, bugs, and mold. They are very rude and lazy. They’re more concerned with tenants personal lives than doing their job. Twice now I have been followed through the complex, cat called, and watched by staff. I don’t feel safe and will never go there again.

I would give zero stars if possible.
I have lived here since April and it’s been terrible. You can smell what other people are cooking (mind you some folks can’t cook) and the smells stay in your unit all night. These apartments aren’t handicap friendly or compliant. I’ve had numerous issues with people parking in the handicap spots that don’t have handicap decals. I’ve called about them several times and no one does anything about it. Now I’m just taking pictures for my own evidence when I leave.
There is always trash spread all across the complex. It looks like a small landfill. The parking lot is all torn up, so front end damage is imminent. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone unless an overhaul of management is done. I’m just counting down the days until I’m out!

STAY CLEAR. I would absolutely never recommend these apartments to anyone. I’ve been here 3 months and it’s been awful. From doors not being able to shut/open or be locked, trash filling the grass and parking lot that they just keep mowing over and over until it’s “gone”, very loud neighbors all around constantly smoking weed and blasting music and leaving beer and trash everywhere. Neighbors around let their dogs run loose without leashes or supervision and they will run up and try to attack other dogs and people. Fleas and roaches infested in my unit as well. It’s very clear that there was hardly and cleaning done between the last tenets and myself. Stains still on the carpet, pet hair piled up under the fridge and in the water heater closet, walls and door frames scratched up, tack marks covering the walls and very crude attempts to cover any big holes/damage in the walls. Appliances are outdated as well. The only semi pros are the price considering everything else in BA right now, and maintenance is usually pretty quick to respond to issues. Although I have had maintenance show up without a 24 hour notice multiple times and have had scheduled request filled a day late without any notice or explanation twice.

I live here currently, and though it could be absolutely worst, it’s certainly not the best. Unfortunately we had to renew because I am having a baby any day now and it’s not a good time to move but I will say the other reviews on here about trash being everywhere is correct! When I go out to walk my dog, the grass area is filled with trash, I’ve even seen bloody used tampons laying in the grass, which is DISGUSTING!
Apartments are supposed to be “make ready” when you move in, right? When I moved in my bath tub was very chipped up! I was told it has to be over 50% torn up for them to fix it. I have 2 little girls and also about to have a baby, taking a bath is not comfortable when it’s all chipped up. It’s very scratchy!
It’s give or take rather you are going to get a maintenance person who isn’t going to just gaslight you about what you called them out about. My AC went out, one maintenance person came and tried to say “oh it’ll blow cold” after flipping the switch back on and it Ofcourse didn’t.
Called someone else out and they got straight to it and turns out my AC was out.
Almost every door in this apartment is jacket up and missing screws from hinges so they don’t close all the way, my bathroom and hot water tank closet almost ALWAYS smells like weed, our cars have gotten broken into twice! They say in the entrance our apartments are under surveillance but they are not, only in a few areas. The photos on the site are kind of funny because for example the basketball court looks absolutely NOTHING like it does on the site. We have a torn up fence around it, the concrete in the inside is all broken up in spots, there were 0 basketball goals when we moved in a year ago, and not long ago they put 2 in, the ponds are always filthy looking, the materials they use in the part I live in anyway, are really janky and cheap! But that’s the goal I guess, janky and cheap so they have to spend less of their money.
Oh! And while they are this janky and cheap, they just raised rent as well.
Only good thing here is maintenance responds at a decent timing, and that’s about it.

Just moved out this month. Downstairs neighbor car was stolen right by the front entrance. Conveniently the cameras around the office don’t work. We had a horrible roach problem that never went away. Trash everywhere outside, parking lot all torn up, mold in the shower. I could go on and on about everything wrong with this place. If you can manage a couple hundred more dollars a month in rent do it this place is horrible.

If you go there be prepared to have 2 diff people give you 2 diff prices on a 2 bed 2 bath. Had a deposit down but had to walk away since another price was put in the contract. Not good business.

Definitely not worth the price. Almost every appliance was broken when I moved in, all the appliances are outdated. My apartment flooded 6 times, had hundreds of bugs crawling in through gaps in the front door even after submitting multiple maintenance requests (not maintenance's fault, I really needed a completely new door frame and door because there are large gaps around the entire frame that air pours into when the door is closed, and you can see daylight through it). The office says it is because it's an old building and buildings shift, so they won't do anything about it. My toilet also leaked, my kitchen sink leaked, my washing machine was broken, my dishwasher was broken, several ceiling fans and bathroom vents were broken. It often smelled horrible from the neighbors. Cars are often broken into and stolen from the parking lot. My bedroom smelled so horrible that my eyes watered when I walked in. To me it smelled like mold or mildew. I submitted maintenance requests but they said the smell was most likely coming from my neighbors so there was nothing they could do. I asked staff if they could at least test for mold since it smelled so strongly of mold to me (especially after all the flooding, you'd think they would be worried about that too and at least test) but they didn't test because they were fairly certain it was my neighbors causing the smell (but they wouldn't tell me how they knew that, that they'd been in my neighbor's apartment and could confirm it or were just assuming). That room was completely unlivable for several months, even my clothes reeked. The office staff was very apathetic. After the 4th time it flooded and having several bugs come in through the front door, I went to the office to ask for help since maintenance couldn't find the issue, and after explaining my situation, the staff member said he would talk to the manager but didn't take down my name or apartment number. When I asked if he needed it, he said "no, you're in apartment 1221 right" which was not correct, so I corrected him and he still didn't write anything down, I wrote it down and gave him the information. The property management company is extremely unsympathetic, they will twist things and screw you for every dollar they can get from you. I ended up paying over $2,000 to break lease early because I couldn't stand to live here anymore. The reviews are bad for a reason. I understand that it's an old building and old buildings have issues, but it's way overpriced for the amount of issues I had. Staff and management do not care at all and they will not do anything to make it right or help unless legally obligated to. The only good thing about these apartments is the maintenance team, they were very kind and on top of things. They replaced a lot of my appliances if they couldn't get them to work, and even if they did some things not great the first time, they came back and made it right. So thank you to Sean and his maintenance team, I wouldn't have made it in that place as long as I did without you guys.
