Went in to get comforter dry cleaned, first they charged me $20.00 over the actual price, then you have to pre pay for it and then they don’t accept cash. The young lady tells me they don’t have any change because they don’t accept cash. Who in this day and age doesn’t accept cash I find close enough to the correct change and the lady says “I’m still going to need the .21 cents sir. Really I just gave you.78 cents over what was due !!! Then she says when I come to pick up my item they still won’t have any change to refund me my change. Point is, if you’re not going to accept cash payments, advertise this on your website or at least post notice in your place of business.

I head two suits that I wanted clean i Call Kings the cleaner on a Monday I talked to the owner Steven who said he would have it ready for Wednesday it wasn't a problem. my son passed away and I trusted Steven to have my suit ready it was not ready I had to go to Men Wearhouse and I spent $544.24 for a new suit thank you Steven

I would not recommend king's the cleaner. If you've got a special event,

Update: Kean's issued me a check for a little less than 70% of the cost of my shirt. I guess that's for depreciation. I also did not have a receipt (not that they asked for one.) While I probably won't use this location again since they messed up my transaction three times in a row, I will say it's nice that they followed through on the refund.

Do Not Use Kean's. This is the first time I've ever Google reviewed a location, and I'm only doing it out of pure frustration.

About eight weeks ago, I dropped off a two-piece suit and a white dress shirt at this location. When I went to pick it up, they gave me my suit back, but they put someone else's shirt in my car. I gave that shirt back and left, forgetting to get the shirt I dropped off.

I called the next day to ask about my shirt. They said they'd lost it, so let them find it and they'd call me back. I got a call a few days later that they found it, but they'd left a blue chemical stain on the front (from the dry-cleaning process), so they'd clean it and call me when it was ready.

I went to pick it up after it was ready and brought it home. I wore it about a week later. There was another blue chemical stain on the back that they didn't clean, so I brought it back to be cleaned. They told me OK, it will be ready tomorrow.

Go back about two days later. They put a white dress shirt in my car (after charging me about $0.70 for some reason) and I bring it home. Upon closer inspection, it's a different white dress shirt than the one I dropped off. I call them back and explain the situation, but, yet again, they can't find my white dress shirt. I dropped the shirt they gave me back to the location and waited.

After a week I called back and they still hadn't found my shirt. They told me to come in and fill out a claim form so I could be reimbursed for this shirt, which was one of my nicer shirts and was relatively expensive. I filled out the claim form more than six weeks ago, and when I call to check on the claim, they tell me the manager hasn't had time to review it yet.

I recently had my suit cleaned at the Jones Creek location in preparation for a job interview. When I went to pick up my suit this past week - I payed prior to seeing my suit on good faith that Kean's would provide me with a clean, well pressed jacket and pants. When I lifted the plastic I found the my dark navy suit to be covered with lent and what appeared to be fine white hair. It actually looked worse than when I brought it in. The lady at the front counter offered to re-clean it, but being so close to my interview I just asked if she could lent-roll it, which she did. In the process of doing this, I took a look at the back of the suit jacked and noticed that the tail of the jacket was wrinkled, much as it would be if I had sat back on it. I asked if the suit had been pressed, the lady said she "thought it had been," but acknowledged that it was wrinkled in the back. Again she offered to have it re-pressed the next day, and again I told her that I would need the suit the following day and did not have time to have it re-cleaned and pressed since I was leaving town after work the next day.During none of this encounter did she ever offer to make the situation right by re-pressing it while I waited, she didn't offer a refund. She did offer to have the suit sent to another location the following day - but this would not have helped my situation.Essentially I ended up paying $14 for a suit that looked arguably worse than it did before I brought it in - wrinkled and covered with lent. Only the weakest attempts were made to make the situation right. I wanted to look clean and crisp for a job interview - and I would expect any cleaner to know they play an important role for their clients in that way. I certainly will not visit a Kean's again, it was a real disappointment.

EDIT: The manager of Keans called and offered an credit to resolve our problem. We accepted.

My boyfriend and I moved here 2 years ago - and needed a dry cleaner. We found that Keans was 5 minutes up the street - very convenient. He wears suits EVERY day and we are VERY frequent customers. We brought in a brand new suit to be cleaned, nothing special. It came back with a small white spot, so he asked if they could clean it again. They kept it, and the spot got bigger the next time we were in. So he asked that a manager call him, and left his business card. A few days later - I get a phone call at 7:30 AM to fuss about this suit that he is refusing to pick up because Kean's ruined it and he would like to speak with someone. She refused to call him after I let her know that he was handling it - so today, he went in to discuss the situation. Instead of speaking with someone of authority, the cashier decided to get a very unprofessional attitude and he is now waiting for a phone call. I understand that mistakes happen - but it is very unprofessional to put blame on a client and then refuse to better the situation. I used to enjoy going to Keans - I will be finding a new place as of today.
